The Head of Production is responsible for overseeing the entire production process
within the organization, ensuring that operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in
alignment with quality standards and production targets. This role involves strategic
planning, coordination among various departments, and leadership to optimize
production capabilities.
Job Role Description
Tasks:
- Ensures implementation of agreed Manufacturing guidelines, and adherence
to valid local Safety, HSE and other regulations. - Manages completion of unit’s budget planning and Manufacturing related
reporting. – Decides and allocates local financial and personnel resources. - Manages and develops all the respective work flow process ensure all
production targets are achieved. - Designs and proposes short- and midterm development of the site.
- Sets up agreed investment projects and monitors their proper
implementation. - Cooperates with concerned Sales, Project Management and other technical
management functions to coordinate and agree on manufacturing program. - Guides the execution of contractor work orders.
- May liaise with local authorities in public matters
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations Management,
Engineering or a related field is preferred. Significant experience in
production management, with a proven track record of overseeing successful
projects. - Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in production budgeting and scheduling.
- Knowledge of quality control standards and supply chain management.
